This gentle Vinyasa flow class is thoughtfully designed specifically for cancer patients and survivors seeking healing, strength, and emotional balance throughout their journey. With an emphasis on mindful breathwork, supportive movement, and gentle postures, this class offers a compassionate space to reconnect with the body, calm the nervous system, and nurture the spirit. Lauren will incorporate the use of props to enhance comfort and accessibility, allowing students to move safely and confidently at their own pace. Gentle sequences help to reduce fatigue, manage the side effects of treatment and surgery, and gradually rebuild strength and mobility. The class concludes with a deeply grounding guided meditation, fostering peace, resilience, and a sense of inner support.
Lauren is certified in Oncology Yoga and she will meet each participant exactly where they are, offering a supportive path through breath, movement, and mindful presence. This practice is open to all experience levels, including beginners. Wear what feels comfortable, bring water, and a mat if you have one. There are mats available to borrow if you don't and props will be provided at no cost. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to settle in and begin this supportive journey with ease.

Class sizes are limited to ensure safety and accessibility. Proceeds from this class help to support She Rises: A Sacred Shift Sanctuary, a “trauma-informed non-profit empowering women impacted by sex work, addiction, incarceration, and military service.” She Rises uses a multitude of tools, such as yoga teacher training, holistic healing, and more to provide a supportive community that helps women rise into purpose, leadership, and a life they deserve. This beautiful program is more than just that. It is a path back to self, to purpose, and to peace to help women rise.
