We are back at Stafford Lake to continue with the Alliance for Felix Cove annual Tule Harvest. Join us this season as we come together to honor the sacred tule.
Come learn hands-on about the prolific reed plant, which has deep roots in Indigenous California lifeways. This is a space for all ages and backgrounds to connect, share stories, and build relationships rooted in respect for land and Indigenous knowledge.
🧺 All are welcome—come ready to participate or just to witness and learn. Bring friends and family! We’re hosting a series of community events throughout summer and fall including a canoe building sessions at Point Reyes Station, and a tule canoe launch celebration.
How To Prepare: Please bring water bottle, hat, sunscreen, wear light clothing to protect from the elements - long pants and long sleeves recommended. Please be tick aware. If you wish, please bring a pair of gloves and clippers.
