Do you have a phone, iPad or laptop that you’d like a little help with? Would you enjoy sharing stories about life in Edenhope, years ago?
Edenhope Library is hosting a special Intergenerational Day, bringing together local college students & senior residents for a relaxed, friendly & enjoyable day of learning & conversation.
On the day, college students will help seniors with everyday technology such as: sending photos to family, text messaging, emailing, understanding how to use their phones. No question is too small. This is a patient, supportive & informal session.
Afterwards, we invite seniors to spend time chatting with the students, one on one, sharing memories of: growing up, what school, shops & social life were like, how Edenhope has changed over the years, life before mobile phones & the internet. Your stories will help young people understand the history & community of Edenhope.
Who can take part? Senior residents of Edenhope & surrounding areas, anyone who would like help with technology, anyone who enjoys sharing memories & stories.
Register your interest: please contact Edenhope Library on 5585 1302, come into the library & speak to staff or email
