For our 31st clean-up of 2025 we're heading to Millisle and joining forces with the local community.
If you fancy some gentle exercise, some good craic and at the same time ridding our beautiful coastline of litter then please come and join us.
We will meet up at 1pm on Saturday 18th October at the Pirate Ship (Meeting Point) at Millisle Beach Park where we will collect litter pickers and bags. If you already have litter pickers or gloves please bring them with you. We will then take a group photo so if you want to be in it please arrive promptly. Whatever time you can spare is welcome, so please feel free to pop in and help.
All participants under 18 years-old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Map: A map of the meeting location will be posted in the discussion - the red star shows the Meeting Point.
Parking: Parking is available at the nearby Ballywalter Road Car Park or the adjacent Millisle Beach and Car Park.
Please dress suitably for the weather and the terrain.
Terrain: Some rocky and slippy surfaces
Footwear: Walking boots/Wellingtons/Sturdy shoes
Clothing: It's wise to check the weather forecast beforehand. You're advised to wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
