Newton's HOPPIN' on the First Friday of every month and October is promising to be a good one!
Several Newton brick + mortar businesses and cultural organizations will stay open later on the First Friday of every month to promote arts & culture in our community. Here are just a few reasons why you should take a stroll down to Rootin' Tootin' Newton on October 3rd!
- NoCo ARTS will be hosting a book signing with local author and retired attorney, Jason Parker who will be selling copies of his authobiography, 'Prosecutor Boy', published by Red Hawk Publishing. This event runs from 4:30PM - 7:30PM.
- 3 Little Birds will have an art reception for local artist, Derrick Chalfant, who will be exhibiting his work throughout the month of October.
- Emporium 23 will be joined by local artist Andy Thomason who will do a live painting. This amazing boutique will also host several local artists and artisans that you'll have to meet!
- The Green Room Theatre will be back at Southside Park for this year's 'Shakespeare in the Park'! Christian Underwood is directing the production of 'King Lear' and it's gonna be good! This starts at 7:30PM and admission is FREE!
- Carpe Crustum Bakery is featuring artwork by local artist, Manny Maldonado! Grab a cupcake and check out the art!
