Mike Chapman and Larry Clement

Mike Chapman, former editor of the Newton Daily News and the author of 33 books, will be joined by Larry Clement, the feature of his book "Life in the Fast Lane: The Larry Clement Story".

Larry, a Newton native, was an all-star football player at Newton High School, stand-out player at the State College of Iowa (now UNI), owner of a truck and auto dealership in Fort Dodge, a Hall of Fame auto driver and team owner, and even played a role in the creation of the Iowa Speedway.

The book is $25; however, for attendees there will be a special price of $20. Proceeds benefit the Jasper County Museum.
