The long-standing partnership between Dana’s Fine Jewelry and Los Angeles-based diamond powerhouse, Hala, is more than just business—it’s a legacy. Their story began years ago when Dana first collaborated with Hala’s brother, Gabbie, in the wholesale trade.
"Gabbie was a mentor who taught me the true artistry of gemstones," Dana recalls. "Later, when I met his sister, Hala, we instantly bonded over our shared passion for design. After Gabbie passed away, Hala stepped up to lead the family business, and our professional bond evolved into a deep, trusted partnership."
As a prominent member of the Diamond Council, Hala provides Dana with an elite level of access. From massive five-carat stones to rare, vivid gemstones, if it exists in the jewelry world, Hala can source it. The hallmark of this partnership is the highly anticipated Diamond Extravaganza, a semi-annual event that transforms the showroom into a world-class vault. This spring, Hala returns with an even more expansive collection for two days only:
• Friday, March 20th: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Saturday, March 21st: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What to Expect
Hala arrives with a staggering inventory of loose diamonds and finished masterpieces. Whether you are looking for the classic brilliance of a round-cut or the unique fire of a canary yellow diamond, the selection is unmatched. "She always brings something that takes my breath away," says Dana. "Expect to see everything from rare sapphires in every hue to exquisite finished tennis bracelets, necklaces, and rings." This event offers a rare "Trade-Up" window that isn't typically available in-store. Customers are invited to bring in their current diamonds to be evaluated for an upgrade.
"Having Hala on-site is an incredible advantage for our clients," Dana explains. "She evaluates each stone right in front of the customer, making it the perfect time to trade in a smaller diamond for the piece you’ve always dreamed of."
