The Sorbie Tower Sessions weekend is a relaxed gathering of like-minded individuals who like to get together and sit around a fire playing some tunes. There will be a drop in acoustic open mic session for anyone on the Saturday, minus the mic. 😊 If you are not camping there will be a suggested donation of £3 per person, all monies will be donated to the Sorbie Tower restoration fund.
The weekend will be full of opportunities to play tunes together and explore the beautiful surroundings of Sorbie Tower in the South Machars area of Galloway.
Camping at the tower is available for tents and camper vans and at a cost of £10 per person per night with toilets and showers and use of the Bothy kitchen. All proceeds from the weekend will go towards the Sorbie Tower restoration fund:

If you would like to extend your stay beyond the weekend then that can be arranged.
Please note you will need to prebook camping and will not be able to just turn up.
The nearest accommodation is in Garlieston, Wigtown or Whithorn all of these are within 15 minutes driving distance from the Tower. Garlieston, being the nearest is a 20 minute walk from the Tower.
