The 3rd annual UK Open (IATF Grand Slam & Major) is coming summer 2025!🪓
You’re invited to join us and throwers from across the world to compete in the 3rd annual UK Open at Valhalla North Axe Throwing on the weekend of August 14th-17th 2025.
Thursday's events -
- Thursday AM - Premier Marathon (split into 2 by average)
- Thursday PM - meet ups/socialising
Friday's events -
- Friday AM- The 2nd Annual Shieldmaiden Slam IATF MAJOR!!
(Double elimination - premier rules) Winner receives a spot in Round 2 IATC 2026.
Friday PM - Under 65 Average Double Elimination Tournament (12 month standard average of Under 65 or premier average of Under 60 on sign up. *If either of these average are over, you are not eligible for this tournament*) Winner will receive a reserved spot at IATC U65 or corresponding tournament.
Saturday's events -
- The 3rd Annual UK OPEN IATF Grand Slam Tournament!!! (Premier rules & double elimination).
Top 4 receive IATC 2026 round 2 bids.
- Followed by an 0-2 tournament for those who are out in 2 games in the main tournament.
- Saturday evening we’ll be celebrating, with catering on site from Knead A Slice, Beers, Axe Market*, Live Music from Metal Militia +support and lots of fun!... Obviously there will be stump!
Sunday's events-
- Sunday AM - Doubles Tournament! Winners will receive a reserved spot at IATC Doubles or corresponding tournament.
- Sunday PM - BIG AXE Double Elimination Tournament! Winner will receive a reserved spot at IATC 2026 Big Axe or corresponding tournament.
*The Axe Market will be on all weekend! (Please get in touch to secure a vendor spot)
As well as spots at IATC 2026, winners of the Grand Slam and Major will receive cash prizes and TITLE BELTS to take home! Trophies will be awarded to top 4 of all tournaments.
