Great Aycliffe Town Council's Annual Fireworks Display takes place on Wednesday 5th November 2025 at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex.
The safety and security of all attendees are of the utmost importance to GATC. Upon arrival, every person will pass through a thorough security process, including bag checks, wristband checks, and random body scanning. These measures are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. By entering the site, you consent to these security checks.
Our security team plays a vital role in creating a safe environment. We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and full cooperation with them as they perform these necessary duties. Due to these security checks please allow plenty of time to enter the site.
There will be a kiddies fairground and food stalls. Limited disabled parking is available at the pavilion.

5.00pm - Kiddies Fairground
6.30pm - Beacon will be lit
6.45pm - Fireworks Display
The event is FREE, however those wishing to attend the display must apply for a wristband. Wristbands will be available at the OakLeaf Sports Complex from Tuesday 21st October 2025, the wristbands will be available from 1pm until 7pm each day until all wristbands have been distributed.
To be eligible for a wristband you must:
Reside in the Parish of Great Aycliffe
Supply proof of your address with a recent utility bill
or driving licence
One person may apply for their families wristbands, please note limited number of wristbands are available.
