Basic Appliqué Workshop

Discover the art of appliqué in this relaxed, beginner-friendly session. Join us for a creative two-hour workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of appliqué — from choosing fabrics and shapes to layering, stitching, and finishing your design. Perfect for those new to sewing or looking to explore a fresh technique, this hands-on session will guide you through the process step-by-step.

All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own unique textile creation plus the confidence to keep experimenting at home.

All sewing machines and materials are provided. If you are wanting to take the opportunity to set up your own sewing machine at home. You can either bring your machine along with you or make sure you know the make and model, and bringing the manufacturers instruction manual will help us guide you.

All of our workshops are held in the workshop studio upstairs at From Loft to Loved, 11 The Square, Sedgefield TS21 2BN.
