Shoresearch walkover survey, Coryton Rocks, Dawlish

Come and see how many different species species we can collectively find and record. Photographic records eventually end up in the National Biodiversity Database. Shoresearch walkover surveys are citizen science projects conducted in collaboration with the Devon Wildlife Trust and open to all. We ask you to make a small voluntary donation (say £3) to help us exist. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the top of the steps at 1215, and stay as long as you like. Low water is at about 1405. Bring a camera or smartphone if you have one, and wear wellies and appropriate clothing. There is a cafe on the promenade which is generally open depending on the weather. There's 2 hour parking on Marine Parade or space can usually be found in the streets off the Teignmouth Rd above the cliff. Dawlish train station is very close by.
