For the first time in close to 10 years, Newton Abbot fire station between 1000 and 1600 on Sunday the 31st of August 2025, will be hosting an open day.
This will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet the firefighters, have tours of our fire appliances as well as other specialist units from across the service.
We will be doing live fire, ladder and RTC (Road Traffic Collision) demonstrations throughout the day. Our Road safety team will also be attending and bringing with them their 'crash car'.
A variety of other activities and games will also be happening on the day which will be suitable for children and adults alike.
Food and other refreshments will also be available from Kimmies food van in B&Q car park.
Best of all, the open day will be free to attend, however we would like to encourage people to make a donation to the firefighters charity to allow them to continue the brilliant work they do with supporting firefighters and their families.
So, save the date and come visit us. We can wait to welcome you into our station.
We ask all our devoted followers as well as everyone else to share this post so that we can have a great attendance on the day.
Thank you.
