The Elf Express 2025 Grotto…
A magical and much loved annual experience for children excited to meet their favourite characters, have fun with the elves and enjoy simple childhood festive magic.
This year’s children’s theme is ‘Believe’. Belief in magic. Belief in themselves as their character heroes congratulate their achievements and award the much coveted personalised certificate. And, more than anything, belief in kindness to others as they gain their golden ticket for kind deeds from the Polar Express Ticket Master giving them access to Santa’s cabin.
With the warmest welcome for adults and children alike, your ticket includes:
☃️ Arrival with Paddington or Minnie & Mickey
☃️ Entry to the stage area for songs and snowballs with Elsa & Olaf
☃️ A cheeky ‘Naughty or Nice’ quiz show with The Grinch & Cindy Lou… where children discover if they made the nice list and get their personal Award Certificate.
☃️ Then it’s along the elf passage, meeting Stitch or Spiderman along the way, to arrive at the door to the Polar Express
☃️ All aboard as each child receives a Believe Bell. But will the Ticket Master stamp their golden ticket for kindness to others to gain them access to Santa’s Cabin?
☃️ Mr Claus and his long suffering wife will be around the fireside to hear toy wish lists, give advice on reindeer feeding and bedroom tidying and a guide to parents on surviving the festivities!
☃️ Selection packs, toy treats, face painting, refreshments from The North Pole Snow Cafe, and lots of Cheeky Elf on the Shelf antics.

Tickets are limited. Some walk-ins may be available on the day but it is best to book to avoid disappointment

*We provide FREE entry to children who have experienced severe adversity this year, (health, bereavement, disability etc) and those who would otherwise miss out on any Christmas activities due to poverty. To enquire:

You can become a Christmas cuddle sponsor by gifting a ticket to a child who has faced extreme adversity and would otherwise not experience the magic of Christmas in their childhood. To donate the cost of a ticket, please visit the ticket booking link and go to Gift Ticket. We will ensure it gets to a genuine child in need.
Note to parents:
*12-23 month children receive a standard, not personalised, certificate and do not receive a loot bag, treasure trinkets or Believe Bell (for safety reasons) and so their ticket is just £3. If you wish them to have the full experience, please book them as a standard entry ticket at £8. (Bell and small trinkets will be given to parent and certificate can be personalised)
**Babes in arms in family groups go free. However, if you want to bring an under-12 month baby on their own, we appreciate if parents would make a small donation as they will still be taking one of the limited spaces available. We thank you for your support and consideration.
*** we make every effort to personalise our grotto experiences and the booking questionnaire asks about any considerations to make this enjoyable for you and your child. Please note however that the grotto is a busy exciting and sometimes noisy place with lights and a lot of stimulation we try to adopt the best practice in helping children who are neuro diverse or simply like lots of children find the experience very overwhelming! Please think carefully before booking your child as to whether it will be enjoyable for them.
Supervision of children inside the venue is essential and the volunteers retain the right to request any families not complying with acceptable behaviour that compromises safety to leave without refund. Thank you for helping us to have another successful and very happy grotto year.
