Adult and Child Carpentry Workshop

Join us for a morning of carpentry making bookends!

Spend some quality time together with your young person or teen, learn basic carpentry techniques and tool use. Doing something practical is so important for our mental well-being and creativity. It also teaches important life skills.

In this workshop you will learn how to make some bookends from wood - if you want you can add colour as well!
You and your child will learn how to mark out and saw wood, how to use a hand drill for making holes, a screwdriver and screws as well as sanding.

You will walk away with a finished set of bookends and the plans in case you want to make more at home.

The workshop ticket is for 2 people: one young person or teen 8-16 years and one adult (no age limit!).
Please note: You can be the parent, carer, auntie, granddad, godparent, as long as you are over 18 and are responsible for the young person or teen.
