Location: Mourne Park. Meet in Woodland Trust Northern Ireland car park. 228 Newry Road, Kilkeel.
Experience a guided walk that allows nature to help us understand personal resilience. The guided walk will explore the ancient woodland and Whitewater River in Mourne Park for indicators of resilience and motivators on how we can develop our own resilience capacity.
Well Being Skills from the Community Resilience Model (Trauma Resource Institute) help us reset in times of stress and our guide will introduce these skills and provide an opportunity to experience how nature can have a rejuvenating and restorative effect on us.
A perfect few hours, spending time in nature, learning about Mourne Park and utilising nature to learn and grow.
The walk will cover around 3 miles. Please dress for the weather and the great outdoors including sturdy footwear.
This is a free guided event led by one of our trusty volunteers.
Thanks to National Lottery Players.
