The six-week series will begin on January 10th and finish on February 14th held at The Tasting Center at 150 Main Street, Newport from 6-9 pm. The crew who started the Brew Bus and the Burger Bus in Derby this summer has signed a lease to open a restaurant in the space most recently occupied by The Warehouse Restaurant. They have committed to provide food, for an additional fee, for the Winter Saturday events, and Dawn from the Flaky Crust (the pastries she makes are out of this world) is hoping to cover some of the weeks as well.
So – here’s what to expect:
- NDD will be charging a cover of $10 to pay for the bands.
- Eden Ciders will have a cash bar with beer, wine, and cider.
- Food will be available for an additional fee from the Burger & Brew Bus and the Flaky Crust. If there are weeks when neither of them can cover – we’ll order pizzas from Hoagies and sell it by the slice. Bottom line is that good food will be available just like past Winter Saturday seasons.
