About the Directors
Amy Encinas-Yount is a local actress. She studied in LA for 4 years with some of the top acting coaches in the entertainment industry, including Deborah Lemen, Second City Improv, & Barry Papick. There she learned the skills necessary for all aspects of acting, while also attaining the knowledge needed to help others grow in their craft. She has been in a few local film projects and was in the latest show at the playhouse as the Scarecrow. She is excited to share her knowledge of the arts with her fellow local actors and help them achieve their goals. She lives in the Priest River area with her Husband Jordan and their fur babes Jasper, Bayla, Simon and Charlotte.
Amy Dawson grew up in Chattaroy and has always loved performing with various community theatre groups in the Spokane area. Her most recent role on stage was Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda at POPA, but lately, she has been working behind the scenes, directing POPA’s Wizard of Oz in 2025 as well as co-directing youth plays, costuming, and set design. When not volunteering at the theatre, she is a nail tech & a dog mom.
