Auditions for Spring Theater

Edward King House is pleased to announce auditions for its Spring theater production, The Book Club Play, a witty and engaging comedy by acclaimed playwright Karen Zacarías, directed by Greg Geer.

The Book Club Play follows a group of devoted readers whose relationships, preferences, and personal truths are humorously revealed when a documentary crew begins filming their book club meetings. Through sharp dialogue and heartfelt moments, the play explores friendship, personal identity, and the ongoing debate between “popular” and “serious” literature.

Auditions will be held on Monday, February 2, and Wednesday, February 4, at 6:30 PM at Edward King House. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 7:30 PM to sign in. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, and no prior preparation or experience is required.
