Students and Aikido enthusiasts can look forward to a special day of training next month as G. Pennewaert Shihan, 7th Dan Aikikai, leads the annual Aikido Winter Seminar on Saturday, December 6. The seminar is open to practitioners of all levels and promises a rich blend of practice, learning, and community connection.
A Day of Deepened Study and Tradition
Known for his dynamic teaching style and commitment to authentic Aikido principles, Pennewaert Shihan guides students through an immersive afternoon of training. Whether you are new to the art or a long-time practitioner, this seminar offers a meaningful opportunity to refine technique, sharpen awareness, and train in the spirit of martial harmony.
All attendees are encouraged to bring their weapons, as weapons practice and integrated techniques will be part of the day’s curriculum.

Friday, December 5
• Dojo closed for preparation and cleaning
Saturday, December 6
• Training: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Testing: 4:15 PM (immediately following class)
Sunday, December 7
• Dojo closed for post-seminar cleaning
Seminar Fees
• Early Bird Rate: $80 (cash only, paid by December 1 at the dojo)
• Standard Rate: $90
Early registration is encouraged, as space may be limited by Dec 1.
