Pride & Prejudice

Nomads mark the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birthdaywith this classic set in Georgian England. Mr and Mrs Bennet have five daughters and no son, it is imperative the girls marry well. Hopes rise when Mr Bingley, a rich bachelor, rents the nearby Netherfield estate. He attends the local ball with his sister and his friend Mr Darcy who is immediately attracted to Jane, the eldest Bennet sister. Mr Darcy seems haughty and aloof and declines to dance with Elizabeth, the spirited second Bennet sister. Attraction and miscommunication ensue as Elizabeth struggles with overcoming her pride, and Mr Darcy his prejudice. Along with many other family trials and tribulations, this play will be full of good English classic entertainment. So why not join us and come back to a quintessential time in history.
