Who are we?
Newmarket Cricket Club, founded in 2020, is a friendly and inclusive club with men’s, ladies and junior teams from U5–U15. We’re proud of our fast growth and strong community spirit.
Why we’re crowdfunding
To keep developing our youth and ladies teams, we need a new outdoor training net. We’ve already improved our ground and facilities, and this next step will provide a safe, modern space for players to train. The net will also be available for local schools and community groups to support health and wellbeing.
How the money will be used
We aim to raise £25,000 to build an ECB-approved training net. Every penny will go towards materials, equipment, installation and labour, ensuring a high-quality, long-lasting facility.
Community impact
The new net will benefit over 100 members, local schools and the wider community. It will encourage participation, support youth development, grow the women’s game and strengthen community connections—keeping cricket at the heart of Newmarket.
