Every child deserves the chance to thrive, but for some, everyday life presents unique challenges. I am raising £2,500 for a brave child living with Muscular Dystrophy who needs essential equipment to enhance their quality of life at home. This equipment will not only provide comfort but also empower them to engage more fully with their family and friends.

Some words from James Todd, Oliver's father,
Oliver's journey with muscular dystrophy began when he was just 3yrs old (5yrs ago) when he was diagnosed in November of 2018, it was a day none of us will ever forget. Initially Oliver was diagnosed with Duchenne's however after further tests were carried out and we got the diagnosis of LGMD2I this form can and in Oliver's case does mimic Duchenne's.
Muscular Dystrophy is an extremely rare condition and very few children are ever diagnosed with it. Muscular dystrophies are caused by abnormalities in proteins that are important for the structure and function of muscle.
