Lodge in the Woods 2025

Every two years we gather to meet upon the level in a beautiful outdoor venue at the (brother) J. Edward Mack Scout Reservation off Highway 501 in Newmanstown, PA. We will be joined by the Grand Master and much of the Grand Line and District Deputies, as well as masons from across the mid-Atlantic region. There is a roofed dining hall in case of rain, but we look forward to an evening under the blue canopy of heaven with brothers from around the surrounding jurisdictions.

Your ticket includes a delicious steak dinner (chicken also available) with sides, desserts, and beverages. Meal service will begin around 4:30 and will continue until just before 7pm. At that time we will retire to the Fire Circle to receive the Grand Line and open the meeting. Grand Master Derr will be presenting numerous Masonic awards and other recognitions as he should deem appropriate.

Bring your cash as Cub Scout Pack 37 will be onsite selling popcorn and peanuts. We'll also be collecting cash donations to support various restoration projects for the scout camp.

Additionally, we'll be celebrating with the Masonic Lite Podcast as they record their 200th episode live from Lodge in the Woods.

Keep in mind this is a Scout camp and walking can be a challenge. We will have access to several golf carts for assisting our lesser-abled brethren, but wear your walking shoes. Dress for the evening is business casual or Scout Uniform.
