WHAT: Finger Lakes Finns member meeting dish-to-pass and Toivo dance.
WHEN: Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Music 2:30 pm.
• Early arrivals welcome before 1:00 pm to help set up and socialize!
All FLF members and their guests are invited.
• The public, Toivo followers and dancers are also invited. Address is further below.
PLEASE BRING:
• A generous dish to share and a serving utensil if appropriate. It is helpful if you label your dish and include a list of ingredients.
• We are hoping for some extra desserts, healthy snacks, or beverages to offer as refreshments to dancers and newcomers. We will open the dessert table after the dance begins at 2:30. FLF will provide coffee as usual.
• Also, help us reduce waste by bringing your own place setting and coffee mug.
• Some CA$H for donations, membership renewal (only $10) and possibly raffle tickets …
APPROXIMATE AGENDA:
• Pot-luck dinner at 1:00 pm
• 1:45 pm Brief business meeting
• 2:00 pm Prep the room for dance
• 2:30-4:30 pm dance with Toivo
• Katrina might teach a couple of traditional Finnish dances if appropriate.
• Admission to the dance is free, but we will accept voluntary donations at the door.

WHERE: Newfield Fire Hall, 77 Main St, Newfield, NY 14867
Health Safety: Vaccinations encouraged. Mask wearing at your own discretion.
DONATIONS: All year round, we encourage donations to The Finger Lakes Finns. In addition, to scholarships, your generous donations help us pay for events just like this. Examples: for use of the Van Etten church, Keturi’s, The Newfield Fire Hall, and to help pay musicians and other special guests.
