Our Thankful Hearts and Hooves Pay It Forward Dinner at “The Nexus,” our Visitor Center at the sanctuary, invites individuals who can afford to pay for their meal to participate in a community dinner that emphasizes generosity and support for those in need by Paying It Forward. This means paying attendees are encouraged to pay for their meal while also covering the cost of another person's meal who can not afford it, creating a ripple effect of kindness. Those who cannot afford a meal can support the event by volunteering for an hour, helping to serve and uplift others. This way, the gathering ensures that everyone contributes to the well-being of the community while fostering a spirit of togetherness and compassion, ensuring that those who can give back are actively participating in making a difference this Thanksliving.
Although we will have three dining shifts available, there is still limited seating. If you are not able to afford a Thanksliving meal, we encourage you to register soon.
Dinner at The Nexus will include turk'y with cranberry and gravy, mashed potatoes, salad, corn, roll and pumpkin pie. Apple cider, coffee, tea and water will be also be served. All food and beverages served will be animal friendly in honor of the cows and animals everywhere!
The sanctuary will be open for self-guided tours to meet the rescued cows and to explore our hiking trail.
All proceeds from Thankful Hearts and Hooves will be Paid Forward to provide food for the rescued cows of Asha's Farm Sanctuary.
