Writing fantasy involves more than just new characters, plots and ideas – writers often construct entire new worlds! From language to culture, to customs and fashions, world-building full of endless possibilities. But how does a writer even start? Or more importantly, how do they stop? How do we create a world that is rich but not overwhelming for readers? Hear as our panellists discuss their approaches to world-building, including common pitfalls, interesting entrances and the best source material.
