This workshop is part of the Sydney Craft Week 2025.
Amanda will talk you through composition, a range of stitches including Japanese Boro stitching, different materials and threads, all in a relaxed setting. Discover the therapeutic joy of working with needle , thread and textiles. By the end of the workshop you will have learnt valuable skills and created your own beautiful unique bag.
All materials and tools provided to create a beautiful drawstring bag (finished size approximately 14x17cm), plus light refreshments including a glass of bubbles.
This course is perfect for beginners. No experience is needed.
