Christmas Carols by Candlelight at Juana Maria Frail Aged Home 🎄
We are so excited for our annual Christmas Carols by Candlelight extravaganza, which is just around the corner! Join us on Wednesday, 26 November, as we come together to celebrate the start of the festive season with music, light, and community.
📍 Venue: Juana Maria Frail Aged Home, 60 Francis Road, Ladysmith
🚗 Parking: Available at 2 Mason Road, where car guards will be on duty to ensure everyone has a safe place to park.
🕕 Time: Arrive from 6pm — the carols will begin at 7pm.
Entry is free, but we do ask for a donation if you can.
As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our enormous Christmas tree shining bright in front of the home. Piper Andrew Tucker will welcome guests with beautiful bagpipe melodies while Santa Claus spreads festive cheer. 🎅
Inside, you’ll find tickets available for:

Follow the twinkling lights through to our festively decorated back garden, where the magic unfolds. The talented Marisca Campher will fill the air with her exquisite violin music as you find your spot — chairs will be available, though we encourage children to sit on the grass and enjoy the atmosphere.
When everyone is settled, the lights will dim and the candles will be lit as Stefan and Clarice lead us into Silent Night. Sing along — the words will be projected for everyone to join in.
This special evening will also feature two of our residents performing on stage, making it a true community celebration. Even our Frail Care residents who prefer to stay indoors will be able to share in the joy through the windows and balcony of the Frail Care dining room.
It promises to be a night of togetherness, gratitude, and festive cheer, as we thank our wonderful Ladysmith community for all the love and support you’ve shown us throughout the year.
