== Common Ground: FREE Movie Nights @ The Base ==

In addition to our live guest panel events and discussion groups, this year we are introducing a new format of a monthly Movie Night.
We'll explore big ideas and deep thoughts through fiction and documentaries, in a relaxed social environment, with plenty of time for group discussion at the end to digest the ideas as a group.
The Base has comfortable couch seating and is wheelchair accessible. You're welcome to BYO snacks.
These are FREE to attend. As with our other events, you have the option to make a donation and support future events if you wish.
The more the merrier. Please bring friends and family. You are welcome to arrive on short notice without an RSVP. However, it does help us plan ahead and keep you in the loop if you register ahead of time.

We have a rolling list of possible upcoming films, always with the goal of generating thoughtful discussion, whether it's through documentaries, mind-bending sci-fi or dramatic moral dilemmas.

First Wednesday of the month, starting 5 Feb 2025 at The Base Health in Newcastle West.
Doors open from 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. You are encouraged to stay after the film for group discussion. BYO snacks.
The Base has gender neutral toilets and is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us ahead of time to organise accessible parking.
