Based out of their studios in Durham, Send/Return formed when core members of Zeerox, (drummer Sean Mills and vocalist/guitarists Adam Graney and Richard Combstock) added bass player David Kennedy in 2016.The new line-up inspired a name change and fresh start, with an emphasis on creating new material. Send//Return’s music reflects a range of influences, from 90’s alt rock bands Pavement and the Pixies through to Can, Talk Talk and the Velvet Underground. Combining vocal harmonies and alt pop melodies with angular guitars and time signature shifts, Send//Return never drift too far from their melodic core
