THE STAR AND SHADOW MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA as part of community business week.

A day of local music for FREE at the Star and Shadow as part of ‘Community Business Week’ in conjunction with ‘Power to Change’ .

Music Line up:

1pm to 3pm - Things kick off with Star and Shadows very own ‘Star Busk’. Our highly successful open mic. It is always oversuscribed and is a fabulous crowd pleaser. Doors 12.30pm.

7.30pm The evening kicks of with ‘Stannington’ and their bold and confident jangle-laden melodies, thunderous rhythm section and observant lyrics.

8.30pm After a quick change over rising star Hels Pattison will be bringing their ‘heartefelt... blend of contemporary indie rock with traditional country soul.’

9.30pm The whole event ends with the energetic sounds of Newcastle via Colombia of ‘La Sonora Boreal’ filling our stage with percussion, brass, woodwind, piano and voices.

No booking necessary for the music but booking would be recommended for the films listed in our other event page.
Our cafe will be selling sweet and savoury hot food 12noon - 5pm. Bar will be open afternoon onwards.
