Painting Competition time!
� I would love to showcase the talent that the community has!
How it works:
Free entry
- Have your entry ready and dropped off at the shop by/on Saturday 6th September. Entries will be kept safe in display cabinets until 13th September. (If people do not want to leave theirs in the cabinet, we can arrange to have pictures taken, but that might reduce the effect of the painting skills!)
- Throughout the following week, I will collect votes from the community through written slips or an online form (one vote per category per person)
- Winners will receive vouchers!
- Potentially bonus prizes for best conversion, or theme
� The three categories (each person can enter each category once):
Small model: Generally, this will be a figure, from 28mm-42mm scale. Something that gamewise would be on a base 65mm or smaller.
Large model: Basically anything bigger, usually things like bigger mechs, vehicles, monsters. Someone even mentioned maybe doing a bust! Although it has to be able to fit comfortably in the glass display cabinets here! (Detolf ikea cabinet, roughly 30x30x30)
Squad: Something with a theme or uniting concept. From a unit of space marines, to a group of MCP heroes, or a squad of 3 units from Shatterpoint, all fit in this category. (Roughly a max of 10 models)
� I have already seen and heard of some great ideas for the comp, so looking forward to seeing them all come to fruition! �
