Bagpiping and Drumming Tuition in Gosforth

New for January 2026, the City of Newcastle Pipe Band is expanding its bagpiping and drumming teaching programme with lessons starting on Wednesday 7th January at Gosforth Civic Theatre.

The programme will give local kids the opportunity to learn an instrument and join our ranks as a piper or drummer. The band’s history stretches back over 100 years and we regularly participate in competitions, parades, and many other events, including international tattoos.
