The PMBC Committee are pleased to invite you all to our annual Christmas Event, the venue has changed back to what was originally planned in 2024 as the Westport Lake Visitor Centre is now fully open, please read the information below for details of the event:
The venue: Westport Lake Visitor Centre Cafe / Conference Room
Date: **Wednesday 10****th**** December 2025**
Club Members arrival: 11.00 am till 1.00 pm max.
Catering: A selection of ham, beef, cheese and egg sandwiches and sausage rolls with some accompanying salad will be available plus homemade mince pies as last year. Plus, coffee and tea will also be available. The Cafe is licenced; bottle beers, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are available which members will need to purchase for themselves on the day.
Events: Our normal ‘Best New Model Competition - Please remember to bring your new in 2025 model so it can be judged,
2025 Sailing Event awards
A raffle will also be held, prizes have been donated by the Club and some Committee members.
We plan leaving the venue (clean and tidy) at 1.00 pm.
I request that those who are planning to attend confirm by sending a personal message to either Steve Rowe or Misty Rowe ( admins) as we will need final numbers and names by **Wednesday 27****th**** November** to finally sort food quantities. Finally, this event is financed from Club Funds and thus ‘free’ to members, so apologies but we cannot accept additional attendees.
Sufficient car parking is available on site for us, but please remember you need to pay for the duration you intend to stay. As Wednesday is a normal ‘Sailing Day’ those who wish to sail have time to do so, weather permitting, before our Event starts at the Cafe.
We hope as many of you can attend, as happened last year giving us a good closing event for 2025 and a chance to get together before the family Christmas and New Year activities.’
