Following on from our successful event in May, Shams have become a collective with the dedicated aim of raising money for numerous causes supporting Palestinians.
In brief we are fully funding a community centre that hosts numerous programs and activities including a learning program for 80 children from 7-18. The centre is in Cairo where many Palestinians fled. It offers education, psychological support and a space to come together.
Summaries of the program and centre will be posted on the page.
And so, we bring you ROUND 2. The same and more - A completely volunteer run festival fundraiser, a weekend of camping and music, activities and workshops. Expect live music from folk to punk, from local to far, as well as a variety of DJS. A family friendly event inviting young to old and accommodating for all.
A coming together in love and solidarity for Palestine.

We are at the early stages of organising and welcome anyone who wants to get involved whether as a volunteer, musician, performer, artist, creater of any type, someone wishing to run a workshop or activity for kids or adults, food stalls. Any and all ideas welcome, please get in touch. As it was last time it won't be possible without the solidarity and input of you all.
