Wildlife hedge pruning, Wash Common

This weekend we will be doing formative pruning of the saplings planted the other week. Plus putting spiral guards around 100 smaller ones. Come along, whether or not you know how to do this, we can show you, and it's very simple!

Bring gardening gloves,, kneelers and secateurs if you have them, we'll bring some too. Wear sturdy waterproof footwear and dress for cold potentially wet weather.

This is part of the Newbury Nature Corridor, and will beautify this green space and provide food and homes for wildlife.
