We are squeezing in an extra work party on Friday morning, prior to planting our new memorial bench in the afternoon. We will be checking the trees and adjusting the guards as necessary, plus moving some mulch away from the young trunks to prevent rotting - it has slumped around the trunks in all this rain.
Bring gardening gloves, a trowel and a kneeler if you have them. Otherwise, just bring yourselves! We have some supplies. We might just have lunch in the Plough on the Green too!
