This is a themed event. Equipment and clothing must represent the time period between 1880-1939. Reproductions are acceptable. Any modern clothing or equipment must remain in the confines of your tent or shelter.
Pick a 10 year time frame within the range to build your impression. Use primary sources to guide your look and money spending. The equipment and authenticity advisors for this event is Shawn Dyer (Honorable Outfitters), Sarge Vining (same), and Nathanael Logsdon (Early 20th Century Adventures
Firearms should be a shotgun model manufactured before 1939 ideally but break-down and early pump action shotguns are permitted and they must be in accordance with Ohio’s hunting laws and caliber. A synthetic shotgun should be avoided but can be brought with the understanding that there will likely be kind natured jest in your direction about your choice of firearm. It is a hunting camp after all and a good "ribbing" is to be expected throughout the weekend as part of the immersive experience.
You must submit a picture of yourself in the kit you are planning to wear and use.
You must sign the waiver to be permitted on the property and participate in the activities
Participants who are planning on hunting must show their up to date Ohio small game hunting permit at registration
Participants are responsible for bringing and cooking their own food. An optional dinner will be provided on Saturday, indicate below if you intend on eating so we may prepare accordingly
This is a family event, participants must be respectful and consider appropriate language usage.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted
