We’re delighted to announce our upcoming Lost Property Auction in partnership with LNER – London North Eastern Railway, in support of CALM – the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
As many of you know, Charles Hanson is a proud supporter of charitable causes, and this long-standing event – formerly hosted by Northgate Auctions – is now continuing with renewed energy under his stewardship here at The Auction Room Newark.
This auction is all about bums on seats – not online bidding. So, come along and take part in this unique sale where every unclaimed item tells a story – and every hammer price helps make a difference.
You’ll be amazed at what gets left behind on trains and at stations – from the practical to the bizarre! While one person’s lost property may be forgotten, it can become someone else’s treasure and, most importantly, support a life-saving cause.
CALM works to ensure no one feels that suicide is the only way forward. Every day in the UK, 18 lives are lost to suicide – not just numbers, but parents, siblings, children, friends, and colleagues. CALM is there to help anyone struggling with life, and to equip us all with the tools to help prevent suicide.
