Wingward Third Thursdays! - JUNE

Wingward Open Jams are now Wingward Third Thursdays!

Every third Thursday of the month, Wingward is hosting low-pressure vocal improvisation nights, open to anyone interested in vocal improvisation.

The evening at a glance - What will we explore?
Sessions begin with intentional warmups, and continue with structured vocal improv games. We'll finish the evening with some more free and expressive games in small ensembles and larger groups.

We will explore being attuned to ourselves so that we may attune to others, getting in touch with the music inside of ourselves, and putting this all together by playing made-up games with made up rules!

This is a great chance to sample how Wingward teaches vocal improvisation, and then play games to explore concepts in a structured and facilitated format.

We start promptly at 7:15 and close our evening between 9:30pm and 10:00pm.

Out of care for participants and to limit disruptions, late arrivals will not be permitted and early departures are discouraged.

We are SO excited to be able to offer these events more regularly and reliably. We do hope that this makes them easier to plan for and attend.

• Honor your neighbors - Uninvited contact - whether physical or verbal - is prohibited both during and after events. Other actions and/or behaviors that interrupt a participant's ability to honor their own needs are also prohibited.

Participants who do not abide by this code may be prohibited from attending future Wingward events.
