About the Book

 An expansive, poetic play about the legendary poet, Sappho. A startling evocation of a feminist ethos. 


About the Authors

Carol Lee Campbell is an award-winning writer, musician and adjunct professor. She is the creator of Crone Stones, a widely popular divination oracle that includes thirty-three porcelain stones and an accompanying book, Return to Wellness: The New Book of Crone Stones. Chicks In Heaven, her first play with music, premiered in April at The Creative Cauldron in Falls Church, Virginia. A book launch of her newest fiction, The Rebel Rose debuted in May 2024. Carol teaches Women and Gender Studies and Greco-Roman Tradition at several Virginia community colleges and travels regionally as a performance artist and lecturer.


Domnica Radulescu is a Romanian American transnational fiction writer, playwright,

scholar, educator. Radulescu is the author of three critically acclaimed novels, Train to

Trieste (Knopf 2008 &2009), Black Sea Twilight (Transworld 2011 & 2012) and Country of Red Azaleas (Hachette 2016), and of award-winning plays. Train to Trieste has been published in thirteen languages and is the winner of the 2009 Library of Virginia Fiction Award. Two of her plays, The Town with Very Nice People and Exile Is My Home, were finalists for the Jane Chamber Playwriting Award (2012 & 2013). The production of Exile Is My Home at the Theater for the New City in New York (2016) was nominated for the New York Innovative Theater Award and won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast Award from the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors. A volume of four of her plays titled Exile Is My Home was published with NoPassport Press in 2020 and a volume of one act and short plays titled Madame Monde/Madam World was published with NoPassport Press in 2023. Radulescu is twice a Fulbright scholar and the founding director of the National Symposium of Theater in Academe.
