Samsun Knight presents Likeness, featuring Eskor David Johnson

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Samsun Knight to celebrate and discuss his new book, : a story that explores "How do we come to know each other, how do we gather and bind, how do we deepen and endure and go on, what arrangements are we making for love?" (Charles D’Ambrosio).

Samsun will be joined in conversation by Eskor David Johnson, author of . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Samsun will also sign copies ofLikeness.

• General Admission is free (on behalf of Samsun).
• This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
• Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Samsun Knight is a writer and graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was a Truman Capote Fellow. Likeness is his second novel. In his other life, he is an assistant professor at University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and a faculty affiliate at the University of Toronto School of Cities, where he studies quantitative marketing, optimal targeting, and machine learning.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Eskor David Johnson is a writer from Trinidad and Tobago and the United States. His debut novel Pay As You Go was a finalist for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize as well as the the New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award. He lives in New York City.
