At midnight in a laundromat, a stranger named Angel interrupts the usual closing ritual. When Raz, the laundromat runner, agrees to let Angel do a last load of laundry, he begins to notice their exhaustion and quiet distress. What unfolds is a tender, chance encounter that opens up questions of identity, sexuality, and the unexpected possibilities of life and romance. The Museum of Chinese in America invites you to a staged reading of Wash N Fold, an intimate new play that finds beauty in the everyday.
