Welcome to Atherton Academy, where a group of downtown queen bee moms start getting a taste of what they deserve (and not just what they can pay for) when a mysterious new mom, Sofia, enrolls her children at the school. When Sofia integrates herself into their friend group, bad things start to happen—former It Girl Frost is the victim of a hit-and-run electric scooter incident; insecure Belle's fashion launch is derailed when her signature piece, "The Dress," causes people to break out in hives; and uptight Morgan's new sound bath spa is robbed at gunpoint. Are these random events, or is someone at school out to get them?

Spanning the course of one eventful school year, Mean Moms is part satire of upper crust mom-ing and part mystery, interrogating the line between friendship and jealousy, and getting at the question of: What would happen if the woman standing next to you at school pick up was actually a sociopath?
