Dabke and Dialogue: An afternoon of Solidarity with Palestine
You are invited to an afternoon of community, dialogue, fundarising and cultural celebration in solidarity with Palestine. Together, we’ll explore how social workers, educators, faith leaders, artists, and community members of all kinds can bring solidarity into their daily lives and collective work for justice.
The event will begin with speakers from discussing their history and values.
Then we will form breakout discussion groups to provide space to connect around shared identities, professions, and passions, deepening both conversation and community.
The afternoon will culminate in a Dabke workshop led by renowned El-Funoun dancers, where we’ll learn this traditional Palestinian dance and its powerful role in culture and resistance.
