2025 CPAL Fall Programs - Appraisal Needs for Artists Estates

Kelly Cahn, AAA, is a seasoned art advisor, curator, and certified appraiser based in New York, with two decades of experience in the art world. She is the founder of Kelly Cahn LLC: Art Advisory and Appraisals, where she guides private collectors and corporate clients through art acquisitions, collection management, and appraisals.

Since 2005, she has held pivotal roles at leading organizations, honing her expertise in art sales, curation, and valuation. From 2006 to 2017, Kelly built her career at The Heller Group art advisory where she advanced to the role of Partner before establishing her own independent practice.

Kelly has lived in New York since 2005 and remains deeply engaged in the arts community. She mentors through Tulane University’s Innovation Institute, sits on the Membership Committee of the Appraisers Association of America, is on the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture's Council, and previously served on the ArtTable programming committee.
