BOO-Gill Fishing Event and Haunted Boathouse

Join Fishings Future and Huntsville State Park for an evening of fishing and scary encounters.

Fishings Future will be hosting interactive fishing activities like night fishing around the Boathouse and Black Light Backyard Bass. See neat ways to continue your fishing adventures in the park after dark. Want to work on your casting skills, Backyard Bass is a fun way to work on your skills at not just throwing your bait out but being accurate as well. Rods and bait provided, fishing license is not required.

Huntsville State Park will be turning our Boathouse into a haunted house where guests can encounter some of the scary wildlife of the park. From Creep Arachnids, Apex Predators and Slithering Snakes. There will be models and live encounters. Rangers will be there for information and safety. Enter if you Dare and leave more Aware.

These programs are accessible with parking nearby and sidewalks leading to activities. The program is free, and entrance fees will be waived after 6:30pm for the event. Please wear weather/activity appropriate gear. This program is weather dependent, please follow us on social media for updates.
