PLANT WALKS - October 2025

WEDNESDAYS Oct. 8, Oct. 15, Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. - “PLANT WALKS” -- Join us every Wednesday in October for a walk to identify the plants of Canaveral National Seashore and to learn how they have been utilized over the years. Each walk is led by an experienced volunteer and each date covers a different part of the park. Please bring water for hydration and wear shoes for trail walking. (Activity duration: 2 hours)

The walks in October will be as follows:
Oct. 8 - Turtle Mound. Meet at 10 a.m. Use the Turtle Mound parking area or boat ramp parking lot and walk down.
Oct. 15 – Eldora. Meet at 10 a.m. at parking lot #7.
Oct. 22 - Hammock Loop Trail. Meet at 10 a.m. at parking lot #8.
Oct. 29 - Castle Windy. Meet at 10 a.m. at parking lot #3 (ocean side).
