Description: This in-person training is designed for mental health professionals who want a better understanding of what play therapy is, how it has evolved and how to integrate play into the work you do. Whether you work at a private practice, non-profit, school setting, we will cover activities and tools you can use to enhance your work.
Don’t work with children? Not a problem. Learning about the importance of play, as well as activities or games you can show or recommend to your adult clients can be vital to your work too.

2) Summarize the historically significant theories utilized in Play therapy
3) Discuss the differences between directive and non-directive play therapy techniques
4) Demonstrate directive and non-directive play therapy techniques
5) Identify activities to integrate into your workplace
